The TOP 10 Holiday Parks 2024 Annual Awards

There is no better way to celebrate excellence, than popping on your best outfit, and being celebrated by your peers at the Annual TOP 10 Gala Dinner & Awards Evening. TOP 10 recently held its Annual Conference in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and it was a jam-packed few days.

The TOP 10 Conference serves as an opportunity for TOP 10’ers to get together and learn, teach, laugh and celebrate. TOP 10’ers were treated to a great range of workshops and speakers and left with practical tools they can bring into the workplace, and their day-to-day lives. As well as that, there were plenty of opportunities for people to get together and ask questions, provide advice and share solutions with each other. Once again, the TOP 10 Conference was a successful event for all involved.

The most anticipated evening is the Gala Dinner & Awards, where Parks are recognised for their hard mahi/work over the past 12 months.

The Supreme Award, the highest honour bestowed at the Gala Dinner, recognises the holiday park that has demonstrated outstanding performance in all areas of operation. This year, we had a runner up tie with Geraldine TOP 10, and Himatangi Beach TOP 10 sharing the prize for runner up. The winner of the Supreme Award for 2024 is Ohakune TOP 10!

The Most Improved TOP 10 Holiday Park award acknowledges the Park that has made the most significant improvements in the past year. The runner up of the Most Improved TOP 10 Holiday Park for 2024 is Waitomo TOP 10. The winner of 2024’s Most Improved TOP 10 Holiday Park is Franz Josef TOP 10!

Earlier this year, TOP 10 Members were asked to vote for their FAVOURITE TOP 10. This was an exciting race to the finish line and it was special seeing how TOP 10 Members came out in forces to support their favourite TOP 10. We’re pleased to share that the winner of the Members’ Choice award for 2024 is Hanmer Springs TOP 10.

The Emerging Leader Award is voted for by the TOP 10 Owners & Managers and is for someone who is striving to be an exemplary member of the TOP 10 whānau through their contribution to the group and their leadership within their team (plus, lots of other great traits!). This year's winner of the Emerging Leader award is Hot Water Beach TOP 10's Operations Manager, Vivianne Bongard! Congratulations Vivianne!
