There are plenty of reasons we love getting the TOP 10 whānau together, but one of our favourites has to be celebrating the incredible people and Parks that make TOP 10 what it is.
After a few action-packed days at our Annual Conference in Auckland, we swapped the conference lanyards for our glad rags and came together for the 2026 TOP 10 Gala Dinner & Awards Evening.
And what a night it was!
Our annual awards celebrate excellence right across the TOP 10 network – from the guest experiences that keep people coming back, to the teams creating brilliant places to work, the Parks leading the way in sustainability and, of course, those doing a pretty great job of sharing the perks of being a TOP 10 Club Member.
But there was one big award everyone was waiting for...
And the 2026 Supreme Award goes to... Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park!
A huge congratulations to Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park, our 2026 Supreme Award winner.
The Supreme Award is the biggest accolade of the evening, recognising excellence across all areas of a Park – consistently high standards, exceptional guest experiences and a genuine commitment to everything TOP 10 stands for.
And the celebrations didn't stop there for Ohakune. They also took home Largest Proportionate Club Membership Seller, making it a pretty memorable night for Kordula and the team.
We truly didn’t think we could win it for a third year in a row. There are so many fantastic TOP 10 parks, all working hard every day to give their guests the best possible experience. To be recognised among them again means an enormous amount to us.

A huge night for Coromandel Shelly Beach

Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park had an incredible night, taking home Top Guest Experience – Medium Park, Most Improved Most Highly Recommended and Parks' Choice, while also being named a runner-up for the Supreme Award.
Parks' Choice is particularly special, with recognition coming from within the TOP 10 network itself.
We are absolutely blown away and super proud to receive these awards. As a proudly family-owned and operated park, we make sure our guests and their families are at the heart of every decision we make. The continuous improvements we’ve made at Shelly Beach over the past nine years – from new accommodation to the pool, coffee cart and all the little extras – are ultimately about creating a better guest experience. To have that recognised with the Top Guest Experience – Medium Park award is incredibly rewarding.

Small Park, BIG night
Hīmatangi Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park certainly gave us plenty to celebrate too.
Alice, Reuben and the team took out Top Guest Experience – Small Park and Most Highly Recommended – Small Park, alongside runner-up honours in Most Improved Club Membership Seller – Small Park and the Supreme Award.
Two awards centred around what guests think and feel about their stay is something worth celebrating.
We are so proud of our team for the huge effort they put in every day and we are very grateful to all our wonderful guests that have so many nice things to say about us.

Looking after people – on both sides of the reception desk
This year's Employer of Choice award was shared by Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park and Wellington TOP 10 Holiday Park, recognising the importance of creating a great place to work as well as a great place to holiday. Manager, Marty Hupton had some pretty special words to sum up what it means to be a TOP 10'er, and be a part of a great team. We thought it was only fair we included the whole quote!
Winning the Employer of Choice award genuinely means a lot to us. We’ve put a huge amount of effort into building a workplace where people feel supported, listened to and part of the team, so having that recognised by TOP10 was special.

We don’t get everything right all the time — anyone who works in a holiday park knows some days can go from completely normal to absolute chaos in about three minutes — but we do try to keep learning, improving, and looking after each other along the way.
For me, the award really belongs to the whole team. They’re the ones who create the culture every day, whether they’re welcoming guests, cleaning rooms, fixing something that broke five minutes ago, working outside in Wellington weather, or jumping in to help when things get busy.
We’re proud of what we’ve built together. And while the trophy might end up sitting somewhere nice, the best part is knowing the work we’ve put into our people, and our culture has been noticed.
Wellington also took home Most Improved Club Membership Seller – Large Park, giving the team another reason to celebrate.
Doing good while doing holidays
A huge congratulations also goes to Omarama TOP 10 Holiday Park, winner of our Sustainability Excellence Award.
Winning the TOP 10 Sustainability Excellence Award means so much to our small team in Omarama. To have our efforts recognised is huge, because what we’re doing isn’t rocket science. It’s about small, consistent actions, every single day, and creating awareness around the choices we make.

If we can each do our little bit in our park to leave the planet better than we found it, then together, those small actions can make a big difference.
Recently recognised in a Sustainable Tourism case study for their efforts, this award recognises the mahi happening behind the scenes to make a positive difference, and we're looking forward to sharing more about what the Omarama team has been up to.
And that's not all...
There were plenty more reasons to celebrate around the room.
Kauri Coast TOP 10 took out Most Improved Club Membership Seller – Small Park, while New Plymouth TOP 10 won the Medium Park category and Wellington took the Large Park title.
Nelson City TOP 10 was named Most Improved Guest Experience, while the three Top Guest Experience awards went to Hīmatangi Beach, Coromandel Shelly Beach and Cambridge TOP 10.
When it came to the Parks guests were most likely to recommend, Hīmatangi Beach, Geraldine and Cambridge TOP 10 took the Small, Medium and Large Park honours respectively.
Cambridge TOP 10 taking out both the Top Guest Experience, and Most Highly Recommended comes after years of incredible changes, and growth within the Park.
Receiving these awards is a wonderful recognition of what our team has created at Cambridge TOP 10 Holiday Park. Sean and I have thoroughly enjoyed bringing the new pool complex to life, but the best part has been seeing our staff take pride in it and watching guests enjoy it together. From children playing in the splash area to families relaxing by the pool, those moments are exactly what we hoped to create. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make it happen, and delighted to see their work recognised.
