There’s nothing we love more than seeing our TOP 10 whānau doing amazing things – and this year’s Holiday Parks New Zealand Awards gave us plenty to celebrate!
Held as part of the 2026 Holiday Parks Conference, the annual awards recognise the incredible people, Parks and projects helping to shape New Zealand’s holiday park industry.
TOP 10 Parks were well represented among the finalists across a huge range of categories, with three fantastic wins to top it all off.
A rising star at Ahipara TOP 10
A huge congratulations goes to Cormac O’Keeffe from Ahipara TOP 10 Holiday Park, who took home the Park Star Award.
Cormac was recognised for the impressive way he has embraced the holiday park industry, quickly learning the ropes and making his mark after working across two very different Parks.
The judges were impressed by just how much Cormac has taken on in a short space of time – a very well-deserved recognition and an exciting sign of what’s still to come!
Ahipara TOP 10 also earned a place among the finalists for the Medium Park Improvement Award, making it an extra special awards night for the team.
A big development win for Christchurch Spencer Beach TOP 10
Christchurch Spencer Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park was named the winner of the Large Park Development Award.
The award recognises significant development within New Zealand holiday parks, celebrating projects that improve facilities, enhance the guest experience and set Parks up for the future.
It’s fantastic to see the Christchurch Spencer Beach team recognised on the national stage for the investment and mahi they’ve put into their Park. The redevelopment of the Brown Falcon amenities block has made a significant impact to the Park.
Ohakune TOP 10 named Small Park of the Year
And a particularly exciting result for Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park, who were crowned Small Park of the Year!
The Park of the Year awards recognise all-round excellence – from the experience delivered to guests and connection with the local community, through to sustainability, business performance and looking after the people who make it all happen.
Taking home Small Park of the Year is an incredible achievement and a testament to the mahi of the entire Ohakune TOP 10 team.
Ohakune TOP 10 was also a finalist for the Small Park Development Award, adding another achievement to an already impressive result.
TOP 10 Parks shine across the finalist list
The celebrations didn’t stop with our winners. TOP 10 Holiday Parks from across Aotearoa featured throughout the finalist list, recognising everything from sustainability and community engagement to major Park improvements and overall excellence.
Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park was a finalist for both the Community Engagement Award and Medium Park of the Year, while Hīmatangi Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park earned finalist spots across an impressive three categories – Community Engagement, Sustainable Commitment and Medium Park of the Year.
Geraldine TOP 10 Holiday Park was recognised as a finalist for both the Medium Park Improvement Award and Medium Park of the Year, while Omarama TOP 10 Holiday Park was a finalist for the Sustainable Commitment Award.
There was also plenty of recognition for investment back into our Parks, with Cambridge TOP 10 Holiday Park a finalist for the Medium Park Development Award and Waikanae Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park a finalist for the Large Park Development Award.
Rounding out an incredible showing, Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park was recognised among the finalists for Large Park of the Year.
Plenty to be proud of
From individual team members making their mark, to Parks investing in their facilities, caring for their communities and delivering awesome holiday experiences, there was a lot for the TOP 10 whānau to celebrate.
To have so many of our Parks recognised among the best in the industry is something we’re incredibly proud of.
