Motutere Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park is the ONLY holiday park situated on the shores of the Great Lake Taupō. Nowhere else can you park your van or pitch your tent so close to the water’s edge! Due to the gentle slope of our Motutere Bay holiday park, even the sites further from the water have great lake views. We even have cabins and self-contained units for a little more comfort.

The Motutere holiday park is located about halfway between the townships of Taupō and Turangi making it the perfect base to explore the region. We are only 20 minute’s drive from everything Taupō has to offer in summer, yet only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski fields for your winter adventure! Whether you enjoy fishing, tramping, mountain biking, adventure, culture, snow sports or natural wonders, our Motutere holiday park in Taupō has you covered.

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in and check out time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
