The Annual Holiday Park Awards were hosted on the 24th July, by Holiday Parks New Zealand and we’re pleased to share that several TOP 10 Holiday Parks were recognised for their efforts over the last 12 months.
Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 took home the Holiday Park Supreme Industry Award at the awards. One of the owners, Aaron McFarlane, was there to accept the award on behalf of his team and whānau.
To add to their trophy collection, Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 were also awarded winners of the Community Engagement Award, and the Park Improvement Award – Medium Park.

But this is only the beginning of the TOP 10 recognition.
The Small Park Improvement Award was awarded to no other than Ross Beach TOP 10 for their onsite pizza and off-licence options.
And the Large Park Improvement Award was given to Rotorua Blue Lake TOP 10 for their new additions they've made for the mountain biking community within their Park. Which means, TOP 10’s were the proud winners of every Park Improvement Award.
When it comes to Park Development, Taupō TOP 10 took out the Medium Park Award for their fantastic new motel units.
For their incredible world-class development, Hot Water Beach TOP 10 took out the award for Park Development - Large Park. Owners Grant & Sheree Webster were unable to collect their award in person, but there was no shortage of support for the pair in the room.
Park of the Year Award recognises an allrounder, and for 2025 we’re pleased to share that Himatangi Beach TOP 10 took out the Medium Park, Park of the Year award.
And last, but certainly not least, was the recognition of Alison & Gordon Collister, owners of Timaru TOP 10 Holiday Park who were awarded as Life Members for their 38 years of service to the holiday park industry.
It was a fantastic celebration of mahi and excellence across the holiday park industry and TOP 10 is proud of be a part of a welcoming and accomplished industry. A big round of applause to ALL Parks who were nominated, and recognised in what was a great evening.
