TOP of the bunch!

Every year, TOP 10 Holiday Parks get recognised at the TOP 10 Annual Awards evening. However, throughout the year, TOP 10 Holiday Parks from around Aotearoa New Zealand are nominated for awards throughout the motu/country. We know that TOP 10's are some of the best, so it's especially rewarding to see entities outside of the TOP 10 franchise recognise the mahi that TOP 10'ers put in day and night to provide fantastic holidays, foster great workplace environments and build awesome, locally owned businesses.          

Hospitality New Zealand Business Awards 2024

The Hospitality New Zealand Business Awards for Excellence often see TOP 10's being celebrated, with Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park taking out the "Best Mid Scale Accommodation" award in 2023. 

TOP 10 is proud to share that there are two TOP 10 Holiday Parks in the list of finalists for the Best Accommodation Provider (Non-Hotel/Motel) at the Hospitality New Zealand Business Awards 2024. Ross Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park, and Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park are both finalists in this category. 

Ross Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park is a quirky TOP 10 Holiday Park nestled on Ross Beach on the West Coast on the South Island - this is the place to go for a boutique, remote escape.

Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park is the perfect base for all Central North Island explorations. Ohakune TOP 10 Holiday Park is an ideal place to connect with nature, hit the slopes, see the scenes or just unwind! 

The awards don't stop there!

Hospitality New Zealand People Awards for Excellence 2024 features a TOP 10'er among the finalists for Future Leader of the Year. Erwin Beiboer from Omarama TOP 10 Holiday Park has been recognised as a Future Leader of the Year. Having owned the park with his wife Natalie for a few years, they've faced no shortage of challenges. From the pandemic to floods that destroyed the Park, they've risen above and have shown resilience. Erwin and Natalie have proven they have what it takes to be leaders, demonstrating great resilience while raising two young children and facing challenges such as the pandemic and floods that destroyed their Park.

But wait, there's more!

Levin TOP 10 Holiday Park has been recognised as a finalist in the Electra Business & Innovation Awards. These awards recognise businesses in the Manawatu region. Levin TOP 10 Holiday Park is a finalist in the Hospitality, Entertainment & Tourism category. Levin TOP 10 are an iconic holiday park with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. They've been working hard to renovate and refurbish their Park. Their Dining Hall, Games Room & TV Room have all been recently upgraded! 

2024 Holiday Parks New Zealand Awards 

Holiday Parks New Zealand recently celebrated their annual awards evening in Wellington and it was great to see recognition for TOP 10 Holiday Parks. Caitlin Henderson from Taupō TOP 10 Holiday Park was the recipient of the coveted Holiday Parks Emerging Star Award, which recognises a holiday park professional under the age of 35 years. 

In the same evening, Omarama TOP 10 Holiday Park took home the award for Best Upgrade under $100,000 for their fantastic BBQ area. 

Motueka TOP 10 Holiday Park were highly commended in this category also for their fantastic new deck outside of their reception area. 

Hot Water Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park were highly commended for their spectacular new swimming complex for the award Best New Build over $100,000. Ross Beach TOP 10 were a finalist in this category for their glamping domes. 

Both Ohakune TOP 10 and Himatangi Beach TOP 10 were finalists in the Spirit of Hospitality Award at the 2024 Holiday Parks New Zealand Awards

Most recently, Coromandel Shelly Beach TOP 10 was announced as a finalist for Overall Excellence in Sector: Consumer Services for the Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards. Woo!
