Omarama is the gateway to Mt Cook to the north and Queenstown to the South via the stunning Lindis Pass, with the Waitaki Valley and its beautiful lakes to the East. We are on the doorstep of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island High Country heartland.

Omarama TOP 10 Holiday Park is the ideal stop over location, to enjoy what the local area has on offer. Relax in our vast holiday park and enjoy the surrounding views. Omarama TOP 10 is an excellent place to bring the whole family! We have a playground for the kids and access to the lakes are a short 10 minute drive from the campsite.

We are a few steps away from a number of great cafes and restaurants - including our friendly 'local pub', the Wrinkly Rams (sheep shearing experience and cafe/restaurant) and the Omarama Hot Tubs, which are the perfect way to unwind from a busy day.

For the avid skier in the winter months, Ohau ski field is a 45 minute drive away. We are also ideally placed for a stopover between the ski fields at Wanaka, Queenstown and the Mt Hutt field in Canterbury.

NB: During the months of July and August we experience hard frosts in the morning meaning our water taps to refill campervans is often frozen. We recommend filling water at parks you are at prior to arriving to our park to avoid disappointment or else we ask that you refill on your arrival in afternoons.

There is an abundance of lakes and rivers nearby, perfect for finishing or recreational activities for those with boats and jet skis. Located on our doorstep, The Ahuriri River and canals are renowned for their top fishing, perfect for the keen fisherman and fun for the whole family. please do note that we charge a $5 per night for boat storage. and an agreement needs to be signed for that, so please advise us if you're coming with a boat.

We are a pet friendly camp, but you will have to book your pet in with us by email or phone. No pets allowed in our roofed accommodation.

What an amazing campsite to stay.
Location is wonderful, surrounded by the mountains. It's the perfect stop when on the way to Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo.
The park itself is very well maintained, facilities are clean and there is a spacious kitchen with lots of utensils, pots and pans for the guests to use.
Staff was very welcoming and helpful.
I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly come back!

What an awesome holiday park! The park is clean, tidy & well looked after. The cabin I stayed in was in great shape overall, heat pump in there worked well for the cold nights. It is only a short walk to the facilities. The kitchen has all amenities to cook a nice meal and the shower was nice and warm. Special shoutout to Erwin & Natalie for being such friendly owners and help, it made the experience even more excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay during their travels.

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
