Pohara Beach TOP 10 is an idyllic beachside holiday park located in Pohara, Golden Bay. The Pohara Beach holiday park spans over 12.4 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with direct access to the beach.

It is a place to love, no matter the time of year! The summer is our peak and sees our Pohara Beach holiday park humming with hundreds of campers and the local community buzzing. Our off peak and quieter season usually runs from mid-April to mid-October and is the cooler and quieter months but the views and beach remain pristine, calm and picturesque regardless of the time of year.

Whether you want to explore the beautiful Golden Bay, visit the Wharariki, walk your feet through the Abel Tasman, cast your rods out in the bay to catch some dinner or simply just stroll the gorgeous Pohara Beach whilst spending some time at our Pohara Beach holiday park – there is so much to do here and we can’t wait to see you!

Great place to stay. Friendly, well organised and extremely clean. Right on the beach. Good value for money with options from cabins to unpowered tent sites. Well stocked store at reasonable prices. I highly recommend.

A very friendly camping ground. Extremely clean and well cared for. I had a great little Ensuite cabin with a very comfortable bed and right on the beach front. Had a wonderful time with my family and grandchildren camping close by, also next to the beach. Fabulous beach and swimming.

Park FAQs

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in and check out time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here
How much do showers and laundry cost?

Our communal showers are $1 for 6 minutes. Coins can be swapped at reception during open hours.

Our washing machines take 2 x $2 coins and 1 x $1 coin ($5 charge) and our dryers are $2 for 20 minutes.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
