Enjoy all the great TOP 10 Holiday Park facilities we offer in our family-friendly Coromandel accommodation set on 7-acres of parklike grounds. The kids will be entertained with the classic TOP 10 jumping pillow, an epic playground, fun karts, air hockey and more. Families can visit the iconic Driving Creek Railway and Coromandel Zipline Adventures, which are a few minutes drive up the road. Another iconic family day out is a visit to the 309 road to visit the Waterworks fun park, the Waiau waterfalls, the 309 Kauri Grove and Stu's and his pet pigs.

Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy having the Hauraki Gulf right at our doorstep. Jump aboard a charter (we even have our own charter boat - Anglers Fishing Charter), or bring the boat, and head out to the famous Coromandel Mussel farms which always guarantees a bite - safe concrete ramp only a few minutes north in Oamaru Bay. After you have caught your catch we have onsite fish cleaning facilities meaning you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ with your fresh catch of the day.

At low tide, you can explore our bay and walk the popular Tucks Bay Kauri Tree loop directly from our grounds. Also, an ideal bird-watching environment for both budding and experienced ornithologists, where you can wake up to beautiful bird calls every morning.

Finish your day with a Shelly Beach sunset by the beach, then wait for the clear skies to open up to superb stargazing at night.

What is the check in and check out time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here
What time does the tide come in and go out?

Good question! Because the Earth rotates through two tidal “bulges” every lunar day, coastal areas experience two high and two low tides every 24 hours and 50 minutes - best to view our tide tides here: COROMANDEL TIDE TIMES LIVE

A reminder - best to go swimming at high tide (right on our doorstep!) and at a low tide you can gather cockles & do a lovely Kauri Bush Loop walk.
Where’s the best spot for fishing near the park?

We are lucky to have great fishing on our doorstep. If you are bringing your boat - our closest boat ramp is 2 minutes north in Oamaru Bay and a free ramp. For fishing from shore as our bay is quite tidal - its best to head north to go rock fishing, or to Coromandel Harbour to fish off the wharf. Or jump on a fishing charter like ours Anglers Fishing Charters - we can book you in at reception.
Is there a good spot nearby for watching the sunset?

We are home to some of the best sunsets you will see around here - simply head to the beach and watch the sun slowly go down over the Hauraki Gulf.
Where’s the best place for kids to swim safely?

The bay is perfectly safe for kids to swim - especially at high tide. Alternatively, you can use the swimming pool, be mindful of the deep end.
Is there a place to charge my electric vehicle nearby?

Yes, we have dedicated EV chargers. Please see the office if you wish to use them. Please note: there is a small charge for this.

PLEASE DON'T CHARGE VEHICLES FROM ANY UNITS OR SITES. The electrical systems aren't designed for this infrastructure and any damage or disruption due to this will be up to the unit/ site/ vehicle owner.
