Enjoy all the great TOP 10 Holiday Park facilities we offer in our family-friendly Coromandel accommodation set on 7-acres of parklike grounds. The kids will be entertained with the classic TOP 10 jumping pillow, an epic playground, fun karts, air hockey and more. Families can visit the iconic Driving Creek Railway and Coromandel Zipline Adventures, which are a few minutes drive up the road. Another iconic family day out is a visit to the 309 road to visit the Waterworks fun park, the Waiau waterfalls, the 309 Kauri Grove and Stu's and his pet pigs.

Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy having the Hauraki Gulf right at our doorstep. Jump aboard a charter (we even have our own charter boat - Anglers Fishing Charter), or bring the boat, and head out to the famous Coromandel Mussel farms which always guarantees a bite - safe concrete ramp only a few minutes north in Oamaru Bay. After you have caught your catch we have onsite fish cleaning facilities meaning you can enjoy an afternoon BBQ with your fresh catch of the day.

At low tide, you can explore our bay and walk the popular Tucks Bay Kauri Tree loop directly from our grounds. Also, an ideal bird-watching environment for both budding and experienced ornithologists, where you can wake up to beautiful bird calls every morning.

Finish your day with a Shelly Beach sunset by the beach, then wait for the clear skies to open up to superb stargazing at night.

Our Accommodation

This location was recommended to us by friends. We turned up for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5. It was awesome for our family. The communal areas are fantastic especially the BBQ's. Everything was very clean and tidy. We loved the heated swimming pool and also having SKY was a big bonus with the Rugby World Cup on. The managers were incredible right throughout our stay. It is a very homely pace, we will be back :)

Amazing Location and Facilities

Touring New Zealand from the UK we booked Shelly Beach some months ago based on others reviews ... and we're not disappointed. Mixed site of apartments and camping with heated pool, own beach front, laundrette, BBQ's and pizza oven ... the list goes on. Maaike was a superstar helping with our booking and the rest of the team very friendly. Our unit was very clean and well equipped. Driving Creek Railway is not far away and well worth a visit. We would recommend Shelly Beach to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely one of my favourite places to be. Great view especially when you catch the sunset. There are glamping pods we've tried and self-contained units that are great for having a wonderful weekend away as a couple of even on a solo trip. Oh and since it's a campsite it's great for the kids too as they have other areas, rooms available, and tent/ campervan spots too.

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
