Christchurch Spencer Beach TOP 10 Holiday Park in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a recreational destination where you can relax and unwind in a huge campground in the middle of a 70-hectare forested reserve.

If you are feeling energetic you could go for a walk to the beach, bring your bike and follow one of the many trails in the forest, play mini golf, or just sit back and relax. We are just 20 minutes from town, in other words - close to town yet so secluded. Whatever you decide to do, we hope you relax, rewind, and create many precious memories of your holiday.

Our Accommodation

One of the best campgrounds we've stayed at, maybe even THE best. We've decided to visit Christchurch again on our way back north, partly to enjoy a few quiet and peaceful nights in Spencerville again.

The campground is huge and as an unpowered vehicle, we could choose any spot to our liking on multiple large fields. The facilities are well maintained, we didn't miss a thing. Whether in high season or off season, this is the best campground to stay at. Highly recommend!

Outside Tourist Flats at Spencer Beach TOP 10

Absolutely beautiful grounds, and well-equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. I'm staying on a powered site and even after heavy rain the grounds are looking well maintained and easy to get around. It has been a wonderful stay.

Park FAQs

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in and check out time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here
How do Christmas bookings work for the peak period?

For bookings during our peak Christmas period, we first need to enter all our rebooks. This can take some time as each one has to be entered by hand. Once they are all processed, we can then open up to taking other bookings. You can put in a request for a booking form, but we may not be able to give you an answer until all the rebooks are done. Once all the rebooks are entered in the booking system, we send out a request for the one night's deposit. If this is not paid by the due date in the email your booking will be cancelled.
Can teenagers/young adults stay at Christchurch Spencer Beach TOP 10?

Anyone under the age of 18 years must be staying with a parent or guardian. Young adults 18 - 25 years old may be asked for a $50 good behavior bond per person and will need to produce a valid photo ID. Please contact the office for more information.
When can I bring my pet and can it come into my room with me?

We accept pets between 1 May and 1 September by pre-arrangement, however, during this time no pets are allowed for long weekends such as King's Birthday. No matter how small we do not allow pets in any of the roofed accommodation rooms like our cabins and units.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
