Akaroa is nestled in the crater of an extinct volcano in Canterbury’s Banks Peninsula. It is historically unique in being the only attempted French settlement in New Zealand and continues to retain an authentic French atmosphere. Loved it! Beautiful setting, extremely nice staff, and great facilities! Pool was warm even for April, the trail down to the town was excellent, and the grounds were immaculate!

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in and check out time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
