The Wind Wand stands on the foreshore of New Plymouth. The 45-meters Red Pole standing tall, it sways mesmerizingly in a gentle breeze & leans over in the strong wind. The artistic icon of New Plymouth is this Quirky Sculpture that glows at night. A Kinetic Sculpture conceived by Len Lye, and realized by the Len Lye Foundation based on his design. Len Lye is one of New Zealand's most celebrated artists.
