Whanganui has loads of fantastic art studios, but this is something different. Visit the national centre for glass art, promoting the work of NZs leading glass artists. An open access studio where you can watch glass artists at work, it’s an amazing process and incredible to watch. If you get in early, you can even book yourself into a workshop to make your own paperweight.
