Spencer Beach Holiday Park in Christchurch, New Zealand, is a recreational destination where you can relax and unwind in a huge campground in the middle of a 70-hectare forested reserve.

We love this park. It's friendly affordable, big and spacious yet close to the city if we need anything. Came for 3 nights 7 years ago to see what we thought. We have come for 7 night's each year since. Love this park

Outside Tourist Flats at Spencer Beach TOP 10

5 stars! I have been to many TOP 10 Holiday parks but this one might be the best yet! The staff are amazing, the bathroom/shower and kitchen facilities are very modern and not overcrowded because there are so many good options around the grounds. The camp grounds are massive with so much space. There are a lot of awesome activities for kids, and easy access to beaches and mountain biking tracks. The camp office is great with helpful staff and lots of food and drink options to buy. I will definitely be returning!!

We spent several days here with the kids, there were lots of activities for all ages and excellent accommodation. Still handy to the city, great place for a stay - long or short. Facilities were well appointed and clean.

Park FAQs

Is the Park pet friendly?

In all TOP 10 Holiday Parks, medically certified guide dogs are permitted. Most of our Parks welcome responsible pet owners, with their dogs that are well socialised and properly cared for. All bookings with a pet must be arranged by prior agreement with the Park. Conditions apply. Please contact the Park to find out more information about Park directly about rules around dog breeds, time of year/dates and for more information.
What is the check in time?

Check-in time is from 2pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-outs may be arranged directly with the Park. Contact details for all TOP 10 Holiday Parks can be found here
How do Christmas bookings work for the peak period?

For bookings during our peak Christmas period, we first need to enter all our rebooks. This can take some time as each one has to be entered by hand. Once they are all done we can then open up to taking other bookings. You can put in a request for a booking but we may not be able to give you an answer until all the rebooks are done. Once all the rebooks are done we send out a request for the one night's deposit. If this is not paid by the date we state your booking may be cancelled.
Can teenagers/young adults stay at Christchurch Spencer Beach TOP 10?

Anyone under the age of 18 years must be staying with a parent or guardian. Young adults 18 - 25 years old may be asked for a $50 good behavior bond per person and will need to produce a valid photo ID. Please contact the office for more information.
When can I bring my pet and can it come into my room with me?

We accept pets between 1 May and 1 September by pre-arrangement, however, during this time no pets are allowed for long weekends such as King's Birthday. No matter how small we do not allow pets in any of the roofed accommodation rooms like our cabins and units.

What is the cancellation policy?

A 75% refund will apply to cancellations 72 hours or more before the date of arrival. No refunds will apply to cancellations within 72 hours of the date of arrival. All cancellations for bookings made on top10.co.nz must be made via the TOP 10 Online reservation system here using your reservation confirmation number.
