Oamaru TOP 10 is located on the East Coast in the region of Otago between Christchurch and Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand.
At every turn, Oamaru seems to be exceeding the rest of the country, showing us the way to do things. The bridge access from the gardens to the park makes for a pleasant walk. The Public Gardens are among the oldest and most beautiful in New Zealand. You can wander into town to get something for lunch, and return via the community gardens, collecting fresh herbs on the way. The scenery is spectacular.
Oamaru TOP 10’s forever improving its facilities. The latest addition is the awesome 18-hole mini golf course. Families love the playground space and full baby changing facilities, including a fire engine bathing tub! Right next to the camp is the entrance to the Alps to Ocean bike trail, so you could easily base yourself at the camp and go biking for a few days.
