The Park is run by two brothers and their wives: Darren and Suzi Blank, and Matt and Kris Blank. In 2018, they took a leap of faith to turn a shared dream into reality. Bringing together skills in building, engineering, technology, customer service, and finance, they have poured their hearts into creating something truly special.
More than anything, they are a family - and that’s what drives them. With six children and two grandchildren between them, they understand the magic of a great holiday and the joy of making memories with the people you love.
That’s why they’ve shaped the Park into a haven for families, with a swimming pool complex, two thermally heated hot tubs, a basketball court, a glamping tent, refreshed communal areas, and four brand-new motel units. And they’re not done yet – this summer will bring the addition of a new jumping pillow, with more exciting projects still to come.
Deeply connected to the Taupō community, this family is proud to give back in any way they can. From coaching junior sports teams and serving on local committees, to tree planting and supporting iconic events like the Taupō Winter Festival and Christmas Parade, they are passionate about helping their community thrive and giving back however they can.
Being Local at Heart means Taupō TOP 10 Holiday Park is more than a place to rest between adventures. It’s about sharing the best of Taupō with every guest - from pointing families toward hidden lake spots, to recommending the mountain bike tracks the locals love most, to celebrating the region’s iconic ski fields and fishing traditions. For the Blank family, the Park isn’t just part of the community - it’s a gateway into it, where every stay is connected to the people, places, and spirit that make Taupō unforgettable.
Of course, none of it would be possible without the Park’s passionate team, who form the heartbeat of Taupō TOP 10 Holiday Park. Together, they create an experience that is welcoming, local, and unforgettable. Staying here means more than just booking a getaway - it’s supporting a local, multigenerational family business that genuinely loves what it does.
