This park is a favourite for anyone who is on a budget or prefers a more rustic experience. The highlight is the hot Otumuheke Stream which flows into the Waikato River creating natural hot pools. To access the hot pools from the carpark, take the footpath through the grass parklands for approximately 500 metres. This is also the starting point of the popular walk to Huka Falls.
