Star Safari is a 90 minute night sky experience in the Wairarapa International Dark Sky Reserve. Get inspired with a learning experience regardless of the weather. If it’s cloudy, travel to space in virtual reality (VR headsets) and visit the Moon or the Solar System. If the stars are visible, marvel at the stars looking through enormous 16” telescopes. With a maximum of 10 adults per group, you’ll get plenty of telescope time and lots of objects to admire whilst you learn about our Southern Skies. Hari and Sam, an astrobiologist and astrophysicist run the experience and have plenty of knowledge that they love to share.
